1) What is the role or importance of data that has been obtained from a source outside of the SD in writing the PLEP and goals for a GIEP?
2) Is a current academic teacher besides the gifted teacher required at GIEP meeting?
3) If you are a part-time gifted teacher, is the maximum caseload number still 75 students or will it be a fraction of that amount?
For example: If you are a .2 gifted teacher, would the caseload assigned be 75 X .2 or 15 students?
4) If you are the gifted teacher for multiple schools is the maximum for all schools combined 75 students or could a teacher have a caseload of 75 students per building?
5) When will a sample annotated GIEP be available?
6) What does an elementary gifted program that passes compliance monitoring look like? What does the gifted teacher do?
7) When a gifted student graduates, are we required to meet with the parent and have them sign the NORA to take them out of the program?
